Sounds of Congo: Classical Concert for peace in Congo. A wonderful journey into the world of Congo through Classical music and traditional African story telling.

Sound of Congo is a project that aims to create the first Congolese Choral in the USA. The Sound of Congo Chorus group explored mixing and blending classical music with the sounds and rhythms from the congo bassin in Africa.

“We firmly believe that when we bring our personal experiences and backgrounds to the execution of a classical song, we have an opportunity to give it a new flavor. It is time for the Congo flavored renditions of the classic be heard world wide starting here in the Washington DC region.” Sounds of Congo
