Meet our “THANK YOU CONGO” January campaign ambassador, Mohombi

Mohombi is a talented singer, songwriter and music producer. Born to a Swedish mother and a Congolese father, Mohombi recently moved back to The Democratic Republic of Congo to pursue his passion in music.

Following his destiny, the internationally renowned academy award winner has been busy launching a Radio Station (UFM 94.7) based in Kinshasa, touring worldwide, co-writing songs for singers such as Beyonce, Pitbull and more. The latest hit song he co-wrote, Mi Gente, has received worldwide recognition.

Mohombi’s innovative rhythms and ability to capture audiences worldwide as a lyricist has captured music lovers across the board, winning him an academy award in 2017.
We are proud to bring in this new year with a gifted and talented Congolese music legend who remains humble and recognizes his roots.
